Silvia Festa joined Eurail Group GIE in 2016 as a Market Manager for Southern Europe. In 2019, Eurail Group G.I.E. and Eurail.com joined forces under the new company name Eurail where she took on a new position as Business Owner B2B for both Eurail & Interrail Passes. In this position, Silvia overlooks the B2B development, sales and distribution solutions for the Eurail and Interrail Passes.
Born and raised in Milan, Silvia has always been fascinated with international rail travel and is a passionate traveller and explorer herself having travelled to more than 50 European destinations and counting. Before joining the Eurail Group, Silvia was responsible for various roles in Marketing and Sales at the international department of Deutsche Bahn from 2003 and until 2016.
Eurail manages and sells the Eurail and Interrail train passes and is owned by more than 35 European railway and ferry companies. Passes are sold directly via the web shops Eurail.com and interrail.eu and indirectly via a global network of distributors. Eurail is based in Utrecht, the Netherlands and has more than 110 employees.
